Well since no one wanted to help me solve my problem I managed to solve it myself. For anyone else having this problem, go to finder, select ‘Go to folder’ then type ~/Users/”USERNAME”//Library/Caches and look for the epic games folder, delete it, close and re open the launcher. This solved my problem, the launcher is now running perfectly
