Epic Games Launcher installs 32-bit version only on my 64-bit Windows system

Hello everyone,

I’ve been encountering an issue with the Epic Games Launcher on my Windows PC. Despite my system being a 64-bit Windows operating system, only the 32-bit version of the Epic Games Launcher is being installed. I’ve read that the installer should install both 32-bit and 64-bit versions for compatibility, but for some reason, only the 32-bit version is being installed in my case.

I’ve tried reinstalling multiple times but to no avail, the issue still persists. Has anyone else experienced this problem and, if so, how did you resolve it? Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated.

After some research, I have found the it is in fact the installer just installs to the Program Files (x86) folder. It is still indeed the 64-bit version. Epic Games Launcher now installing in Program Files (x86)? - #6 by lotodore
