When i double click epicgameslauncher.exe a windows error pops up and says that ‘the app cannot run on your pc,to fin a version for your pc, check with the software publisher’
I am using windows 10 OS and the launcher worked recently until i added the open world collection demo from the marketplace to a project i was doing, then the engine crashed and i could not launch after that.
Haven’t seen this problem before, but looks to be some form of compatibility issue. Have you tried checking the compatibility settings, and potentially running it in another mode? Similarly, does running it as an administrator help at all?
As a last result, it might be worth backing up your project files and re-installing the Epic Games Launcher.
I’ve tried running it as admin and on a different compatibility mode but got the same results. I think i will back up and reinstall. thanks for the advice.

I apologize for the delayed response. Did you already perform a reinstall? If not, could you right click on the desktop icon and paste the target path displayed there?
If you navigate to the target path directory, is it the correct directory for the launcher?
Yes, a reinstall of the launcher did the trick.
