Hi everyone,
I found a permanent fix for the MD-DL-0 error that actually works when other methods (like DNS or reset) fail. This is the Waseem Ahmed Method from In Game Studio.
The Fix:

Close Epic Launcher completely (check Task Manager/System Tray).

Go to:
C:\Program Files\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Config -
Find
DefaultEngine.ini(6KB file). CUT and PASTE it to your Desktop. -
Open the file on Desktop with Notepad.

Find the [HTTP] section and DELETE this line:
HttpTotalTimeout=30 -
Save the file and CUT-PASTE it back into the original Config folder.

Restart the Launcher.
