So, today I decided to check my Email. And I was excited to receive a letter that I was selected to Alpha test Fortnite. I jumped on over to the Epic Games launcher to download it. It said the launcher had and update and i should restart it, so I did that. After it restarted and did its thing it asked me to log in as usual. So I did, but after that it crashed. It came up with a debugging type panel and I thought nothing of it. I restarted my computer and the same thing happened. I re-installed the launcher and again, the same thing happened. I went to the UE4 forums, looked around and tried some different things but nothing worked. So here i am asking for help.
The debugging panel is grey-ish black and has “An Unreal process has crashed: UE4 EpicGamesLauncher” on the top.
It goes on to talk about how they are sorry the crash happened, and they want to prevent crashes, and i should go to the Answerhub.
Then it gives crash reports " MachineId: … EpicAccountId: … " and says “You do not have any debugging symbols required to display the callstack for this crash.” and then it asks if you want to report the problem.
So thats it, if you can help, please do.
Thanks -Chris
