Epic Games launcher crashes when i try to open it

Hello, I installed the epic games launcher to play Arena on my mac. When I click the launcher it immediately crashes.

Any ideas what may be causing this?

Specs:
3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB
Yosemite

I’m having the same issue. Found some other forum posts with suggestions, but nothing has worked. I’ve been trying to get it to not crash on launch for two hours now.

Hi guys I talked to Epic games player support and they solved my problem.
I completely deleted the epic games launcher (aplications+ Epic Games: ~/Library/Application Support ~/Library/Caches ~/Library/Preferences ~/Library/Logs ~/Library/Cookies) and actualized operating system from Yosemite to macOS Catalina 10.15.6. Then i downloaded launcher from Epic Games and it works
