Epic games launcher crashes before typing account

everytime i open the epic games launcher, it crashes before i put in my user name and password. my laptop freezes and i have to restart using the power button:((

I have a couple of questions for you to help narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

Could you send us your dxdiag?
Could you supply us with your log files?

Windows: C:\Users[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\UnrealEngineLauncher\Saved\Logs

Mac: /Users/[USERNAME]/Library/Logs/Unreal Engine/UnrealEngineLauncher
