I’m having a real hard time getting Unreal/Epic Games Launcher to start. Everytime I try it it crashes, even when I do a fresh re-install, it crashes right at the end of the install process and continues to not work. I’ve tried the -OpenGL work-around, tried setting admin rights and pretty much everything else I can find. I’m getting a BEX error code (Which is presumably a memory-related error but I’m not knowledgeable enough on that stuff to know), and this has been going on for two weeks with no fixes whatsoever. I’ve included my diagnostics and log file. Please help me, I run a small business using UE4 and not being able to work for two weeks is crippling.link textlink text
Hello Luminate3d,
I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble. Based on your dxdiag, it appears that you have an integrated video card. This could be part of the issue. If you have a dedicated GPU, please make sure that the launcher and any associated Epic products are set to use it. This is generally done by setting the system in high performance mode or switching off the GPU switching program and having it only use the dedicated GPU.
Please try this and reply back with the results.
