At Ground Development We want to Help, Inspire, and Encourage other Game developers! After a 3 year build of the Multi combat game Let’s Fight we’d like to take the time to rebuild, optimize, and organize our systems and as planned originally ALL optimized Systems will be released! Boxing,Kickboxing,Muay Thai,and More!

First off is our Boxing System
This System is built with a few tools that are useful in almost any project.Player input, Multi directional attacks.3D fight lock on, Quick , Power, Gassed Attacks. States-Rocked,Gassed,Combat,No Combat,and Blocking High and low, KOd. Leaning and Sways. Might add in Pushing,Clinching,Taunting. All of these systems are easily read and the animations can be swapped out quickly!
AI systems Will fight you or other Ai. Can have multiple Fighters fight(KO end stuff will be buggy but easily stopped or replaced!)The Ai will Randomly choose between The same inputs the player has Attacks,Blocks,Leans,Will move to Target or will move Away.
There is a Referee as well but just for fun. He will move around and start counting on a KO (would suggest using level Sequences instead for him for kos Might add in future update)

Notable Systems not mentioned. A simple “Hit” Blueprint that handles the trace of attacks,checks hits,and can set other variables like death,rocked, ect. Ko Counts Currently Set to 4 with different animations for both fighters depending on the number. Also Can set up different for Body shot Ko, or Liver shots. Will perform different Animation for body Kos. Directional/situational Reactions Depending on Power Attacks or which side is attacked. If you are Rocked, Gassed, Ect can effect Damage. Controller or Keyboard supported.

Again theses Systems can be implemented in many other style games not just boxing!They are easy to pull from and use.

Future possible Updates. ,Cinematics.Cloth Sims,Character Select. And Anything suggested!

Updated V1.1 Fixed movement, Added Blood Effects and Rocked effects, Working on rotation smoothness but has cleaned up a little. Added an outside cam for Multiple Fighters fights to help with Rotation snapping.

Updates to 1.3 Fixed smoothing and snapping between animation and walking animations, Fixed movement and head movement to follow exact directions.
added in new Rocked animations for Body shots,Blocking Body and head, Dodging ,taunting, and clinching. Added in a round system and Fight Totals. Better Ui , Ref is fixed should work decently(not perfect.) added Outside Camera for better view with rotations following the action.

Updates 1.4 Rounds corners,Faster Punching (random speeds will depend on stamina),beginning animation, Better AI He was only punching 30/50 a fight now hes keep up.

Inputs

LMB/X Left hand attacks RMB/Y Right hand Attacks

Not moving plays Jab FWD Hooks,BWD, Uppercuts.(does change depending if rocked or gassed.)

L1/C Power, L2/Space Body, R1/E BlockH, R2/Q BlockB

Block+ double tap a direction=Dodge

Right stick/Arrow keys To lean while Blocking

While blocking H you are Able to Lean with the mouse or right stick.

While blocking either H or B you are able to Dodge.

4 after the fight has started will bring you out to the extra camera

F clinching

Enter- Will bring up menu to switch between different examples.
