i just stumbled across a strange thing with the EpicOnlineService (EOS)…
Avatars…
It seems… even we have User Profile Images here in the Forum, there is no way to obtain them loaded into Games… We can get Steam Avatars… even Discord Avatars work… but still not from Epic?
Is there any way or idea or roadmap on when Epic implements their own Avatar system into their own Online Service for their own Epic Accounts?
still no answer to this? 
They have had it on the roadmap for at least a year

Currently, the EOS is still not supporting Avatars…

But, when will they be available?
Like… isn’t there any chance to f.e. gather the Avatar of these Forum Accounts or similar things (f.e. storing images in the User Cloud to have at least something for an avatar)?
You need to account for the time they trying to perfect this system. You also need to account for the bugs that could occur if they released it when it wasn’t ready. You also need to note that Epic Games servers are backends and it’s hard to code that stuff. Steam is a launcher so they focus on their launcher Epic on the other hand is a game studio that has developed Paragon, Unreal Tournament, Fortnite (currently being maintained), and Unreal Engine. So they have better things to do than work on avatars.
