Experienced in Unreal Engine 4 asset placement. Understanding the use of layers and foliage tool assets to organically place the plant, rock, trees, and textures for our game world. You will understand how grass should be properly placed into 3D worlds, and your goal is to turn these parts into outstanding terrain visual experiences designed for both attraction and playability. This is so that we can make memorable areas, that focus players, while also allowing them to explore anywhere and find all of the beautiful detail that we build together while having it perform well.

Optional, if you can design alien objects and species, and if you can 3D Model your ideas to game testing.

Our game is an open-world FPS with RPG-elements.

You have a love and passion for working on populating level and creating unique environments the player can experience in awe.

You are experienced in working with Photoshop, Speedtree, audio, 3D and Substance assets. Always keeping those files highly-organized. You will be skilled in Unreal Engine, use of splat maps, and terrain texturing by altitude and slope, using a blend of real-world textures, and Substances.

From our concepts, we build out memorable outdoor environments for our ‘multiplayer, outdoor-arena’ games. Our design allows for wide open 3D gameplay that is truly thrilling to experience. Like a rollercoaster off the rails, we put the players in control and they create the ‘ride’.

You will work remotely. You will track your time. You set forward your hourly wage and currency of choice. You will begin at least part-time so we can name you as our Environmental Artist in our Business Plan and show your work in our videos. You will go full time up to 40-to-50 hours a week once we are funded (this will be any day now). IMU Studios is seeking an Environmental Artist for Contract work. It begins as royalty to set up the team, then becomes full-time paid work.

We are a dedicated team of professionals. We’ve got a playable prototype and now we need to grow the team to hit our milestones regularly, while our Business Advisor and our Executive Producer bring in the funding they have sourced.
