Hello all! I recently came across the “Environment Query System” in Unreal and I have a few questions about it.
What could this really be used for? Is it even usable in it’s current state? (I have experience with C++ so I don’t mind if I need to use it)
How would I use this? Could I use this with an AI pawn? Could this be used with UPawnSensingComponent or UAIPerceptionComponent?
How complex could I get with this?
When will it come out of the “experimental” phase?

Great question, I heard some nice stuff about EQS in some stream, Mieszko really seems to love it, but I have no idea what exactly I should do with this EQS.

Same, I’ve been looking into it during the last hour and came across this. Someone in the comments said that it is similar to this and Mieszko said that EQS is a lot more flexible which is sounds great.
