Bulkhead Interactive is seeking talented Environment Artists to work on Battalion 1944, an old school FPS for the new generation of gamers.
This is a paid in-house role (minimum of 6 months) based in Derby, UK. (We can consider work from home)

If you have strong artistic abilities, and an extensive knowledge of online multiplayer FPS, this may be your next big opportunity to work on a title with high potential for success. We work in a relaxed ‘indie’ style environment with a combined goal of making a truly competitive FPS with a classic game feel.
Maintain a high level of skill in creating realistic environment art within UE4.
Work alongside our existing art team to create beautiful multiplayer levels.
Collaborate with our designers to create ‘gameplay centric’ assets.
Display Knowledge of optimisation, memory and performance budgets.
Knowledge of multiple art software (Photoshop, UE4, Maya/Max, Substance/Quixel, zBrush etc).
Experience with modeling, texturing, and shading for games.
Demonstrated skills in artistic
Ability to quickly learn a content pipeline and toolset.
Must be an effective communicator, both verbally and written.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment team.
Ability to anticipate, prioritize, and organize work to meet objectives.
Passion and enthusiasm for video games.
A strong eye for form, shape, structure, colour, and light in 3D.
2D art skills.
UE4 Lighting experience.
Other generalist abilities.
1+ shipped titles, indie or AAA.
Game development experience. Flexible.
