Orcari games is looking for a creative environment artist to develop stunning natural biomes targeted at the next generation of consoles. Candidates should be pioneering, driven and self-motivated. The role is remote so a high level of communication and self-management skills are key.
Requirements:
- Portfolio containing realistic assets and environments
- Developing high quality props and vegetation
- Excellent knowledge of PBR, materials and functions
- Strong experience in UE4 or relevant real-time engine
- Strong experience with Maya or relevant 3D software
- Natural eye for level design and flow
- Good English skills, both written and verbal
Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality game environments from concept briefs and descriptions
- Participate in development of workflows and pipelines
- Populating open environments
- Working remotely and communicating daily with team members
Desirable:
- Experience with Houdini and procedural formation
- Working with scan data
- Speedtree
- Unreal Blueprints
