Environment Artist Remote

Orcari games is looking for a creative environment artist to develop stunning natural biomes targeted at the next generation of consoles. Candidates should be pioneering, driven and self-motivated. The role is remote so a high level of communication and self-management skills are key.

Requirements:

  • Portfolio containing realistic assets and environments
  • Developing high quality props and vegetation
  • Excellent knowledge of PBR, materials and functions
  • Strong experience in UE4 or relevant real-time engine
  • Strong experience with Maya or relevant 3D software
  • Natural eye for level design and flow
  • Good English skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality game environments from concept briefs and descriptions
  • Participate in development of workflows and pipelines
  • Populating open environments
  • Working remotely and communicating daily with team members

Desirable:

  • Experience with Houdini and procedural formation
  • Working with scan data
  • Speedtree
  • Unreal Blueprints
