Simply task - you got character and vehicle pawn (chaos based physics). Most of tutorials just hide character and possess a vehicle. But I need stick out character mesh from the vehicle (at few points). As far as playing with physics is fun I get more and more frustrated.
I do like this:
- attach player to vehicle
- disable state machine/animation and possess vehicle
- disable collision (but i need it for player)
- change seats/position
After exit I need recover only collision sets for player…
But I wonder how do this better. Maybe hide player and ‘copy’ mesh to the vehicle and redirect colissions?
Can you ppl guide me? Any ideas?
