Enrollment in the Fortnite Developer Program is now easier than ever
We’ve updated the Fortnite Developer Program to make it faster and easier for new developers to join and start receiving payouts.
What’s changed:
Enroll now, set up payments later: Tax and Hyperwallet account setup is no longer required to enroll. New developers can receive payouts in V-Bucks in their Developer Wallet right away. From there, they can spend V-Bucks in Fortnite or convert their balance to real money once they’ve completed their Tax ID and Hyperwallet setup.
Simpler eligibility: New developers must meet one of the following in the last 365 days:

Make any real-money purchase through Epic Payments (Epic Games Store, Fab.com, Fortnite.com, or Fortnite on PC). Gift card balance and Epic Account Balance purchases don’t qualify.
OR

Spend and redeem at least $20 USD in Fortnite on any platform.
