I agree entirely with @PresumptivePanda’s sentiment that your replication of Minley’s Manor is absolutely gorgeous and spot on! But with as much attention to detail as I see in your creation, I can’t help but wonder how long this project took. Was it a challenging task for you? :slightly_smiling_face:

I have worked in the Unreal Engine since the 1990’s when Unreal came out, but the engine keeps changing. When I started the number of polys on screen was in the hundreds, now it is in the millions. So yes, it is a struggle just keeping up. This scene took about four years of evenings. Hardest part was getting photos of all the complex.

You’ve been with Unreal for the long haul, which is fantastic to hear! Even though the unreal engine underwent various changes, you decided to stick with it. In all that time, have you considered developing with another engine? Also, how did you collect photos of the manor for this creation? Thank you for answering my previous questions and for taking the time to reply! :grin:

I got quite a few by taking screenshots of video’s , I used every search engine to find them, and since the Manor is now a wedding venue, I went through some of those videos. The blank spots no one showed I got from an add agency website. I used Google street view for the buildings next to the public road. All the models were done in Blender, except for many of the trees I purchased.
