I started making maps using Unreal Engine 5.3 and upgraded to version 5.4, but I want the map I made to support versions such as 4.23, 4.26, 5.2 and 5.3 when sold. I couldn’t downgrade the engine version but it stayed at 5.4, can you please help?
I’m not a marketplace seller, but given the lack of backward compatibility between UE versions, common sense would dictate that you maintain the map in the lowest version.
Then, every time you need to update it, you make copies of the project in each of the other 3 versions, where you open & fix anything that’s wrong.
