Engine not asking for microphone permission in Mac OS Mojave

I’m trying to use the Audio Capture component but it’s not registering anything, and if i create a media player asset there are no capture devices listed. I suspect this is because the engine never asks the OS for permission to use the microphone or webcam? Is there a fix for this?


This is literally keeping me from using UE for one virtual set project I’m working on. Please fix this, Epic!
