I’m trying to use the Audio Capture component but it’s not registering anything, and if i create a media player asset there are no capture devices listed. I suspect this is because the engine never asks the OS for permission to use the microphone or webcam? Is there a fix for this?

This is literally keeping me from using UE for one virtual set project I’m working on. Please fix this, Epic!
Running 5.3.2 on MacOS 14.3, the editor is not requesting access nor does it show up in the list that is allowed to access the microphone. Anyone figure this out yet?
