Engine keeps crashing

Hi, I paid for and downloaded Empires of the Undergrowth for my son. It was fine at first but for the last three days the unreal engine keeps crashing and he can’t play at all. He’s autistic and increasingly distressed about this. The error we see is this: LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 853]

Can anyone please help me to fix this for him. It will need to be in easy to understand, step by step, language please as I’m not too tech savvy. Many, many thanks!

Hey there @HenryAntKing! Welcome to the community! Since we don’t have access to the source or symbols, these specific errors won’t really help us on pinpointing the issue. This forum is mostly for developers working with Unreal, though I can tell you what I can gather from the error here. The only hint we’d have here is the DLL referenced igdmd64.dll is that there’s a graphics error stemming from what I believe are the integrated intel graphics driver.

May I know your computer’s specs?

Are your graphics drivers updated?

Was the game running well before this error?

It seems like the developer does have some methods of contact, such as a forum, a discord, an email, and other social media. My best recommendation would be to drop a forum post first, but also make a post inside their Discord server as it seems far more active than their forums!
