Engine download via Launcher is often getting stuck

Hi,

I’m trying to download the engine for about 2 days now.

It continuously gets stuck and I have downloaded only about 15% after numerous attempts.

Went through the launcher troubleshooting guide A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Epic Developer Community Forums

All other downloads (ftp…) are reasonably fast so it’s not a connection issue test here

The firewall isn’t blocking the launcher or it wouldn’t have reached the 15%.

My debug logs and dxdiag are attached.

Any suggestions?

Problem persists even after gpu drivers were updated.
dx diag Epic launcher was also reinstalled.

Today I managed to complete my download, with maybe 10 launcher restarts.

So my issue is resolved but cause undetermined.

Hi ivan.kunjko,

The first thing I notice is that your GPU drivers are out of date. Could you please try updating them, deleting the partial install, then trying again?

Problem still present, after 3% everything stops.

I apologize for the delayed response. We are still investigating this issue for you. If you are on a router, it is possible for you to bypass it and connect directly to your modem and test the download?

Ah! Did you make any updates or did the download simply finish finally?
