Engine Crashes when I try to open my project

Whenever I try to open my project, either through the launcher or through the project folder, the engine always crashes. My other projects load just fine, it’s just this one in particular.

Hello,

  • Try deleting the Saved and Intermediate folders, and re-opening the project.
  • Could you provide the logs from your project’s Saved->Logs folder?
  • Are you getting a crash reporter window? If so, could you provide your Machine ID and ensure you hit send on the report?
  • Do you recall any changes you made to the project prior to it crashing?

Deleted the Saved and Intermediate folders and it still crashes. The last thing I was working on was a Component class, unfortunately I don’t remember exactly what it was I was doing.

For the logs I just post the text document that’s in the Logs folder?

Yeah that’s right. The text document in the logs folder is the right one.

Also, try opening a copy of the project in the 4.11 Preview and see if your crash is still occurring.

Ok it opens up just fine in the 4.11 Preview. Here’s the log also for the previous version.

If your project opens up in the 4.11 Preview, this most likely means that the issue that was causing the crash was resolved in that version. I recommend continuing your work in 4.11 to avoid running into your same crash again.
