Enemy targeting system gone wrong!

Hi all,

I’m making a small hack and slash game, I’ve nearly completed all of my enemies thanks to BluemanArt tutorials (thank you very much!!), although I’ve ran into some trouble. Hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction.

I need my camera to lock onto the enemy on TAB key press, as my attacks all play in the direction of my camera. At the moment, the scripting that I’m using is struggling / refusing to cast to my Boss location vector variable. Here is some snipets of my script. Any help would really be appreciated, I’m not trying to perfect my enemy targeting skills, rather create a small level for a portfolio. I’m happy if anyone can point me in the right direction or even advice on a purchase from the market place, but the ones I’ve found dont seem to be suitable.

The script always seems to break down when I cast to my Arena_GameInstance blueprint, this seems to be the culprit, but I’m lost on how to fix it. Please see the bottom for a video

Your Gate gets never entered.
You Toggle it from open / close, but you don’t enter it.
