ENDLESS RUNNER TUTORIAL problem: Spawn from random point in box having issues for me

I’d done this successfully in 4.7 but lost the entire project - seriously nothing would open. I logged that issue seperately, but have since started trying to get back to where i was in 4.8.

For some reason, my pick-ups are spawning in the center of my trigger volume instead of at a random point

issue when going from 4.8, or did i uncheck something like a dummy? lol i’m sure it’s something simple - if you can toss me in the right direction it’d be appreciated! :slight_smile:

I think I see the issue. On your coin area, move the scaling back down to x-1.0 y-1.0 z-1.0 and bump the size up using the Box Extent settings instead.

Wow I didn’t know that about the box triggers. I’m just used to using scale to make things bigger that i didn’t think twice when redoing that part of the tutorial (I was skipping more and trying to do more on my own.) Thanks! :slight_smile:
