Thanks for your time. First time poster here. I have a turn animation assigned to an AI character in unreal. Within the animation the joints turn roughly 90 degrees from their original position. The issue is every other animation I have created is facing the direction of the original position. I currently cannot sync any animations to the turn animation without the character turning back to the original position. I cannot jury rig a counter rotation with key-frames as the model “wiggles” in place during the blend. I feel there must be a rudimentary solution for this, but all the tutorials I’ve found were based around movement speeds. This is unhelpful. Any advice or direction you could give would be quite helpful.
