'End' and 'Ctrl+End' Not Snapping Box to Grid in UE 4.12

Last night I had 4.11, and the snap to floor feature worked when using boxes to create a floor in a new level. It stopped working when I opened UE today, and I thought maybe I needed to update to 4.12 to resolve the issue. Not the case. The keyboard shortcuts ‘End’ and ‘Ctrl+End’ are not working for me whatsoever in version 4.12. Any solutions?

‘Ctrl+Z’ says the action was performed, but it is not reflected in the editor itself. The objects still float.

Im having the same problem UE 4.12.5. Ctrl + End shows up in keyboard shortcuts in preferences so i know its bound, but yet my Geometry Box wont snap to the grid. Anyone?

Hey guys,

Here is a couple things to check:

  • Is the ‘floor’ you are trying to snap to have collision? If it doesn’t, the snap will not work.

  • Is the object you are trying to snap contained within another collision? Ex. Invisible collision walls, a larger object with collision, etc.

If neither of those are the case, have you tried reproducing this behavior in a new project? If so, is it still happening there?
