When enabling Root Motion for an animation of a character, and playing said animation using a montage, the Root Motion seems to have increased by more than what its supposed to be and launches the character in the general direction of the Root Motion.
How do i fix this?

Since you are using root motion, physics may be a part of your concern. If you are comfortable doing so, feel free to provide a gif or a video link showing the concern in action.
I would also go into the animation and set the bone drawing to ‘All Hierarchy’ so you can visualize where your root is going. While you continue investigating the cause, here is documentation on RootMotion you can look over. I would read over the settings in the Animation Sequence chapter.

Physics were not problem, it seemed. i just had to uncheck “Use Normalized Root Motion Scale” in the animation settings for it to work properly.
