Enable Root Motion

Hello there

Am new to ue5, i have problem in root motion after re target the character animation.
when finish re target the the animation, the character preform the animation just fine but when click on enable root motion the character start rotate in place in z-y-x.
How to stop the character from rotation??


i have changed additive anim type to local space and base pose type to slected animation frame, not working, any idea how to solve this problem.

Is your character originally in the correct rotation it’s supposed to be when adding it? What about your animation? Can you share screens of your animation settings?

Any additional specifics you provide may go a long way in solving your problem!

The Rotation is correct.
but where is the animation settings?

You can find the settings for your animations on the left hand side of the window after opening the animation.

Clicking on the root motion or force root lock is what causes the rotation
