Enable Plugin on my PC and not commit it to source control.

when i add and enable an engine plugin on a project, i have to push the .uproject change and this breaks my team’s projects - because it says you dont have this plguin and do you want to disable it…
Would it basically b fine to add an ignore for the .uproject? are there changes u can do in Project Settings that will change it and i could could be forgetting that changes aren’t being pushed?
