After a restart of my project the “Content Browser” is totally empty even the folders pane is gone (The other “Content Browsers” do still work normally).
Also the “Selection Mode” menu has totally vanished.
How can I get both back?
In the main editor window:
Window → Load layout → Default editor layout

This partially fixed the it.
It returned the “Selection Mode” pane but the empty “Content browser” persists.
I managed to fix the Content Browser Issue.
It seems that the size of the different panes were set to 0 (after a crash of my project)
I edited the ini file that contains the splitter size values for the Content Browsers and
changed it with the default values of one of the 4 Content Browsers that was still OK
and restarted my Project.
