Empty menu for Mesh Calculation

The Mesh Calculation menu in the Reconstruction settings is nearly empty. I can’t choose anymore the vertex count limit, level of decimation, or the single part mode for normal and high detail model creation. Iit should be like this :

And it’s like this :

Hi SoF-STF, there were some changes in these settings.

Maximal vertex count was moved to Advanced, single part setting was cancelled and Detail decimation factor is also in Advanced

What’s the point of having presets if you can’t tweak the presets settings? That’s stupid. I’ll have to download an older version to have better settings. You guys should use your software before updating it!

Hi, which settings are you missing?

Half of them, since we can’t tweak the settings separately for normal and high details.

Okay so you’re really not using the software you’re selling, you are removing usefull settings, you offer to download old versions on your site because you know you are making mistakes, but we can’t use them because a pop-up is displayed to update. Geniuses.

I am sorry that you have this feeling. Honestly, we are using the soft on daily basis.

The option to force a single part model was removed, due to the RAM issues. By creating multiple parts, RealityCapture should be able to create larger models even on weaker machines.

The another options are in Advanced. If you want to use different settings for Normal and High, there is possibility to use CLI scripts for that.

Alright now you admit your team removed features to make power users pay for the CLI version, nice.

And that’s probably why we can’t use older versions, to force us to pay for the options you remove.

No, this is not what I wrote. You can use CLI also with PPI license. And they have the same functionalities, so there is no difference between PPI and ENT license. It is not affected by version.
