I’m thinking of creating a system where the winner can emote at the end of a round, such as in Pillars. How could I implement this? I would be grateful if you could let me know.

The best thing to suggest is that they take control of the rounds themselves. Or, as a bare minimum, they should take control of when the round will end and use the end game device to end the round.
So, if they are using island settings to determine when a round ends, e.g., when all players are dead or a score is met, instead of using the island settings they should track these values either by a custom verse script or with score devices. Then, when it meets the end game criteria, they can start their emote phase, and then after X seconds, they can trigger the end game device to end the round.
