Emit particles from mesh imported as blend shape

Hello everyone,

   I have an animation of ocean wave imported as blend shape from maya. It has 240 individual frames to get the ocean wave effect. I'm trying to emit particles from the cusp of the mesh. The cusp is formed between 120 to 200 frames. What is the best way to approach this problem?

If I animate a bunch of locators in Maya that follows the cusp of the wave and import them in to UE4, can I emit particles from them?

Any suggestion would be of great help!

I would also like to know, strangely enough for exactly the same reason :smiley:
