Emission based on camera distance.

Hey, I have some sprites from cascade that trail off of a projectile source. The projectile moves away from actors’s position. When they are very far from camera, the spites which have transparency, display as a flickering square card. The cards are aligned with the velocity direction.Is this an LOD issue? Is there a way to stop emission based on distance from the actor? I’m assuming bounds are tied to the emission source which is parented to an animated object.
