Hello, i’m am developing the Space game, what i’m doing is using World Partition as star system, in this star system i will have one sphere(play area) as Fast Flight map like FSD in Elite and 10 more spheres for normal slow flight gameplay (like fighting, mining, stations and etc.). When i want to travel to new star system i will be loading new World Partition. I was reading multiple times about world sizes in unreal, the maximums and problems with big worlds. So in my total my world size are not getting bigger then 20 000 000 units away from center(player or npc will never go over that number). I’ve heard that on such distances there may be problems with collision or visuals like lightning, but testing this my self i didn’t really found any problems with that. Can some one who are really know about such big worlds what are limits to world size, before i will find that my project cannot exist with this approach? I don’t like moving whole world to player cuz first it will be much harder to do live NPC and second i’m planning to make it multiplayer in future.
Thank you for your time.
