Elisa's Apartment - Oaken Studio

In 2021 my wife and I lost a pregnancy.
This is a tribute for someone very dear to us

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day - 15th of October.

This is my first study in UE5 with Lumen.
Workflow: 3dsmax/Unreal Engine 5/DaVinci Resolve

I have created two animations for this study:
A Flythrough and a Walkthrough

And some images below

Hey @Astrotronic

I had the same thoughts.
I have to admit, it was a hard one to work. Swallowing the tears while my 2y/o son was around asking what I was doing.
My wife and I had another baby a few days ago. Elisa now has two brothers.
Life goes on <3

Thank you.

Hey there @FabioGC,

Hope you’re doing well!

Thank you so much for sharing something so beautiful and personal. The story behind its creation is heart-wrenching but it’s wonderful that you created something so stunning to discuss something painful. As always, it’s been such a joy to see your work!

Hi @PresumptivePanda, doing good, what about you?

My wife has drawn all the art you can see in the scene and specially the little girl on the bedroom wall, Elisa’s portrait. It was beautiful to see her illustrating, fighting her emotions.
I know we’ve done our best to keep it up, but putting our art to talk and express our emotions is just so amazing, like if our art would stich our little hearts back together.

Thank you very much for checking it out, it means a lot.

These are amazing! Are any of the images produced with the Path Tracer, or do they all use Lumen only?

Thank you @orcharbj, this scene uses Lumen GI and reflection, rtx shadows, no path tracer was used.
