Hey everyone, I was wondering if subscribers can use assets/textures/materials from the UE4 Elementaldemo in their own game projects?
I know I have my eye on the lava assets since I will be using lava alot in my game and I was wondering if epic allows you to use them?
The EULA is the definitive answer to any licensing questions: EULA - Unreal Engine, but in a nutshell, you can reuse any assets from Elemental under the regular license terms as long as you are using UE4 (as it’s a “UE-Only Asset” under the terms of the EULA).
In general, any assets you get from the Marketplace or Learn tab can be used in your shipped UE4 games, but pay attention to the Marketplace description for the asset, as it may have important information that affects your usage rights (e.g., UE-Only Asset or Unreal Tournament Content).
