Elasticity and bouncing meshes

Hi,

I’ve already asked this question but I try my luck again, hoping someone can help me with this :). So I wanted to ask if anyone has an idea how I could create the following effect: imagine you play as an animal (e.g. giraffe) and you approach a tree. Once you bite into a leaf and drag the whole tree bends towards the player. Once the player lets off the branch it bounces back. How could I achieve this effect in a game ? I imagine the tree has to be a physics object and the setup needs to be very specific to allow this behaviour ? How would the interaction with the player work ?

I’m kind lost on where to start so I hope someone has an idea on how to achieve this :). Thanks in advance!

So there’s no way to create something like that ? :frowning:

I’m not too sure how to do this either, but I’d start by researching soft body physics.
