EFileVersion::VersionPlusOn......I have a Problem with opening a Twinmotion File. The file I worked with was on a different PC and yesterday I saved it on our server. Today as Wanted to open it on the Mac the error: "EFileVersion::VersionPlusOne" appears.

It says that they are different versions and it has to be converted (but they are both 2022.2). If I convert it, it doesn't appear and it gets described as 2022.2.1

Hi tm-user01-bha,

When moving a TM file from one computer to another. Please make to do a "resource collector" when saving the original file.

This will group and make sure all the textures/data you used will be in the file when moved to another computer.

For more info on how to use the Resource Collector, please see this article:

https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/article/How-to-share-files-including-textures-by-using-the-Resource-collector?

I also suggest that you download the file locally before trying to open it inside Twinmotion.

One last thing, Twinmotion 2022.2 was updated to Twinmotion 2022.2.1 (Hotfix) on Tuesday morning.

If the auto-update was on by default inside the Epic Games Launcher.

The version of Twinmotion would have been updated without you noticing and this is the reason why you are seeing the version conversion message.

Having said that you should see your Data in the new version.

If you are still not seeing your data in Twinmotion, please log a bug using the "Contact Us" button with your file and a support agent will investigate deeper and contact you.

Thank you

MC

It sounds like the same problem a few of us had over the past day or two. The Twinmotion 2022.2.1 (Hotfix) on Tuesday morning broke compatibility with the Unreal Engine plugin, and those with Auto-update turned on had no option to revert to the previous version. It was an unpleasant time. That said, I’m thrilled to say the team have fixed the issue, and an update for the plugin is now available through the Epic Launcher. I’ve tested it, and Twinmotion to UE works again!
