You are all good. All you needed to do was to make an account and download the latest version on each of the 25 computers. After that you are all set. Hope this helps.
Luckily, Thanks to Epic Games, everything is free for you to make you game but they get 5% when you publish it.
Hello. I’m a faculty member and want to install Unreal Engine on 25 computers in our lab. I’ve created an account and downloaded the latest version, but I’m unclear if that’s all I need to do.
Do I turn over the .dmg file to our IT department and have them install it on every machine? Do I need to have any additional license? Do I need multiple copies of the software?
It appears, based on what I’ve read on the site, that I have all I need but I want to make sure before I unwittingly do something wrong. Thanks!
Excellent! Thanks for the info - will pass on to my IT department.
We probably won’t be publishing anything, although if the students do a good enough job 5% seems a reasonable amount.
