Editor Very Laggy

Hi all, I am using Unreal engine version 4.19.2 and I have noticed that my editor is very laggy. it starts to drop frames quite regularly. at one moment it will be at 60fps and then drop to 40fps and then 20fps and then after a while comes back to 60.
I am using a HP Omen X laptop
My RIG -
i7 - 7700HQ 2.8Ghz
nvidea Geforce GTX 1070
16 GB 2400Mhz DRR4 RAM
FHD 1080 IPS 120HZ with gsync.

Sounds like the Geforce experience. Switch it off and see if that helps.
