Hello,
I am an educator using UE4 to create some project based learning activities. I am using the built in tutorial blueprints to create a walkthrough of a classroom lab experiment. The walkthrough has information and pictures before providing assignment details.
My issue is that when I insert an image for the Tutorial Blueprint Stage Content, the file dialog box asks me to select a picture from my local machine. So if this project/tutorial were to be transferred to another machine, say a student somewhere, the images are no longer found.
Is there a work around that I am not seeing?
Usually I can find solutions rather quickly on this forum because you all rock, but this time I feel like the keyword “tutorial” is messing with my research.
In the tutorial blueprint editor, I noticed that you can reference an asset, but I must not be doing it right because it only displays a hyperlink. I would love it if the tutorial blueprint can display the image referenced from the content browser when launched.
Or, if I may, I would suggest having it use a file path from the Content folder for referencing the image, because everything works until the project files are transferred.
Thank you all in advance for reading this.
Stay strong, stay safe.
