For some odd reason it seems that lighting in-game differs from the editor preview and it annoys me somewhat.
The lighting in the editor looks nice but the lighting in the game view looks too washed up. I’m using the BP_Lighting_Studio from the Kite Demo example.
As you see on the picture below the lighting is sort of washed up and white
On this picture however the lighting is warm and yellow as it’s supposed to be.
Another thing is when I look up the sun is in 12 o’clock position when I in the editor have set it to about 10-ish in the morning. I have noticed however when I build the lighting I get the following warning messages and SWARM crashes:
My guess is that it’s trying to build lighting for too many polygons on screen or something? I’m using the Foliage from the Kite Demo as well and while I get the lighting it tries to create is not supported that still doesn’t explain the SWARM Crash as it should build the rest of the lighting.
