How do I move the pivot point in the editor? I want it to go to the middle of my object and not in the corner.
You can move it with the middle mousebutton -> just go to the white circle (pivot) and then move it
On a side note, remember that if you are making your own assets the pivot point will usually be at (0,0,0) in the modelling program
To add to what Fighter5347 pointed out. Changing the pivot point is not a permanent move. Clicking away from the object and highlighting the object will move it back to its original import origin. Also, you can only change the pivot point from the perspective viewport.
So where the pivot is in my maya scene is where it will be when its exported as a fbx?
