I’m using UE4.9 Preview 4, and if i open a blank scene, delete everything so there is nothing in the viewport, my gtx 970 still gets 50% usage from the editor. is this normal? (2560*1440, so viewport is close to 1080p in size)
The editor takes quite a bit of CPU and GPU usage when you’re working within it. If you’ve clicked away, the usage should decrease, and when it’s in use, the usage should increase. Do you notice this when you’re looking at your CPU and GPU stats? If you notice this is not the case, could you please submit an AnswerHub post so that I can obtain some additional information from you in order to verify a bug?
