Editor keeps crashing when I'm painting with vertex painting textures on static meshes

Hi,

The editor keeps crashing regular, almost every 5 minute or less when I’m vertex painting on static meshes.
This was not a problem in 4.13 and started to be a problem when we changed our project to 4.17
