Editor Freezing Intermittently, Ending In Crash

I’ve been fighting with UE4 for a while now, and have yet to find a solution. I’d greatly appreciate any help that I can get. UE4.26 freezes seemingly randomly for a good minute or two before allowing me to do anything again. This issue appears to occur on any project that does not utilize Raytracing, or is not using DX12 as the default RHI. Reinstalling the engine has not appeared to have any impact. The freezing occurs multiple times before the editor finally crashes, with this message.

If left unattended for a few seconds, a windows prompt appears saying “Pure virtual function being called while application was running(GlsRunning == 1)”

I’ve made sure to update my drivers to the latest version, however this has not solved the issue.

My PC specs are as follows:

  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER
  • Intel i7-10700k @ 3.80GHz(16 CPUs)
  • 131072MB RAM
  • Windows 10, 64-Bit(Build 19042)

I’ve attached both the Log and XML file.

This is the first time I’m asking a question here, so if I left anything out, or did something wrong, I apologize. I’d love to figure out what is causing the issue. I’m fine working with DirectX 12, however I’d like to ensure that my projects are compatible with a wider variety of machines, so I don’t want to completely exclude DirectX11. If anyone can help, that would be absolutely wonderful. Even if you can’t, I hope you have a nice day. Thank you.
