Most of the time it shows this in crash log window
Assertion failed: [File:D:/Build/++UE4/Sync/Engine/Source/Runtime/Windows/D3D11RHI/Private/D3D11Util.cpp] [Line: 198] Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. (Error: 0x887A0005 - ‘REMOVED’)
But the problem is I can see werid big spikes in terrain. This project works well on other devices. However in this device it shows big spikes on the terrain.
I tried multiple solutions, including updating/downgrading RTX2080 drivers, disabling use of IGP…
But nothing helps
But today I find a new clue, the houdini terrain system also renders incorrrect spikes on terrain for a properly tuned simulation.
Is it possible that the graphic card has artifacts?
Also, some of the texture is showing a hard to recognize “OX” text on top of it.
