Editing plugin for landscape in realtime

Hellol everyone !
I’m a new unreal engine user, for my school project, I need to create an HUD that can modify my landscape in realtime.
I’m using Terrain Magic plugin and I wanted to change the value of ‘height saturation’ during play time. My blueprint is working since the value change but I cant see the modification in play… Is there a way to make it possible ?

Thanks for your help !

Hey @snsdtiti! Welcome to the forums!

I did a little digging on Terrain Magic, the project is abandoned and no longer supported by Unreal Marketplace or the creator of the plugin, so for that reason I would suggest not using it.

That being said- it won’t help you do what you want it to do according to the author of the plugin. :frowning:

Oh thank you for your answer ! That’s really unfortunate
By any change do you know if there is a way to modify landscape in game ? I have search but I can’t gasp a way to do it… It’s seem almost impossible to modify lanscape parameters in game.

As far as I am aware, UE5 does not natively support landscape modification at run-time. However, I do believe there are plugins on the store for that- otherwise you’re stuck with using dynamically generated static mesh which would be rather taxing for something that size. ALTHOUGH maybe it wouldn’t be so taxing with Nanite enabled on it. It still would be a rough workflow to put into the game.
