Editing multiple Input files

Hello,

This might seem like a silly question, but I’m struggling to find a way to edit multiple input files at the same time after importing them.

After I import my files, I can see a list of them. If I want to delete a single file, I can click the small “X” next to its name, and that works perfectly. However, I found sometimes I need to manipulate many files such as 30, or even up to 150 images at once, and doing this individually is very time-consuming.

Selecting muliple files is no problem. But from there, I’m stuck. There doesn’t seem to be a right-click menu with a “delete” option, and pressing the delete key on my keyboard has no effect. The only way to remove a file seems to be the individual “X” button.

Similarly, I would also like to know how to disable multiple files at once.

I feel like I must be missing something obvious. It seems unlikely that the software would require users to manage large numbers of files one at a time.

Could someone please point me in the right direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @Jixxal

The X button is basically just for disabling the selected images in further processes. You are not deleting them from the project.

To do this for all selected images you can select in which process those images won’t be used in 1Ds view:

Disabling for alignment is the same as X button.

After selection you can also use CTRL + R, which will disable the selected images for alignment.
